Inside Out Contemporary Ballet presents their second production, If I Were You, in collaboration with set designer Lisa Boling Holloway. A community inspired dance collaboration, If I Were You is a long-term project that enlists the personal experiences and voices of Marin residents to illuminate how dance can connect us to our shared humanity. Through a series of community outreach workshops we will gather hundreds of written reflections about what dancing connects us to. These written reflections will then be used to craft a large-scale set design that encompasses our performance space. If I Were You will stand testament to the belief that dance exposes what is most personal to us, and perhaps most universal.
